SOUTH EASTERN COAST & DUNEDIN
Late last fall (that's April-May in New Zealand), Jessica Linderman, aka Jess the Wanderess, set off in a Off Track Rentals vehicle to explore the south east coast of New Zealand's South Island. Her travels included beach-side camping and surfing in the Catlins and exploring Dunedin city and coast. These are her images.

"While at the Caitlins I was invited to a bonfire on the beach and was setting up a long exposure shot of the stars when I noticed something green in the sky. The light grew brighter and realizing what was happening, I shouted to the group and we all ran closer to the water to watch the show unfold: The Southern Lights! The lights waved and danced in the sky for nearly two hours, shimmering on the ocean water before us. It was a completely unexpected encounter with an aurora and I feel so lucky to have witnessed such a rare phenomenon. Truly.so.darn.beautiful."
